Proprietary Framework
BECOME:
Sensory Inclusion Climate
A framework for designing inclusive environments — shifting from reactive accommodation to proactive sensory design embedded across entire spaces.
The core idea
A child who is overwhelmed in a noisy classroom does not need to be removed from it. They need the classroom itself to be designed differently.
BECOME shifts the approach from isolated sensory rooms to embedded sensory design across entire environments. It supports schools, clinics, public spaces, and community settings in creating spaces where individuals can regulate, participate, and belong without being removed from the environment.
This model promotes inclusion, reduces stigma, and supports individuals of all abilities in real time.
01
Classroom or shared space
Regulation within the environment
The primary environment itself is designed to support regulation — through layout, lighting, acoustic treatment, and visual design choices.
02
Tools and quiet areas within the space
Micro-regulation supports
Within the main environment, specific tools, zones, and quiet corners allow for self-directed regulation without removing the individual.
03
When genuinely needed
Deeper sensory regulation access
A dedicated sensory space remains available for moments when deeper regulation is required — now a last resort, not a first response.
BECOME applies across settings
Schools
Inclusive classrooms, corridors, and sensory-informed school design.
Clinics
Therapeutic environments that embed regulation rather than demand it.
Public Spaces
Libraries, transport hubs, and civic buildings designed for all.
Community Settings
Faith communities, recreational spaces, and social environments.
